I’m on sound cloud, it’s where I like to store random sound bites or full tracks that just don’t make it to youtube.

Definition: Tumblr is a micro blogging platform that allows users to post text, images, video, links, quotes, and audio to their tumblelog, a short-form blog. Users are able to “follow” other users and see their posts together on their dashboard. Users can “like” or “reblog” posts from other blogs on the site. The service emphasizes customizability and ease of use.
To me it’s basically like a more artististic twitter, I’m enjoying it a lot and I’m basically using it as a hub to put things that I have made or find on the internet that interest me in any way.
If you want to check out my tumblr here is a link, while you’re there take a listen to a never before heard ephixa track I uploaded.

If you’re looking to work with a vocalist, but aren’t sure where to start, there’s many resources online available to you.
Voice Acting Alliance: http://www.voiceactingalliance.com/board/
Primarily, these are hobby voice actors who specialize in animation/charater voices. However, there are some who can bring special details to your production. A majority of them are not familiar working with music, but if you look hard enough you’ll be able to find one you can work with easily. There are an abundance of females on this forum.
Voice Acting Club: http://voiceacting.proboards.com/index.cgi
Again, these are hobby voice actors who specialize in animation, but you are more likely to find male voice actors.
Voices.com/voices123.com
These sites are for paid work… you can try your luck at finding some talent who can work for free, however, a lot of professional talent work through this website and will gladly provide you with a reasonable quote.
Myspace.com
There’s many vocalists, songwriters, and indie bands on this website. If you hear a vocalist you like, ask if they are interested.
Youtube.com
There’s also many vocalists on this website if you browse enough — usually they showcase their talent singing cover songs.

James Roger Linn. Ever heard of him? He’s only the man behind the modern day drum machine and the originalMPC-60, and he’s also the man behind the concept you’re inevitably peering at below. For now, Roger’s calling this beaut the LinnStrument, and there’s quite a back story to go along with it. The design began way back in 2006, with the goal being to create a full-on multitouch instrument with the ability to let one’s finger dictate volume, timbre, pitch and pressure. admin If you pay attention to me you might of noticed there has been a lack of video and music content! Have I given up? Nah.
I have been sitting back refining my production skills. I’m disappointed and getting bored with the way hardstyle sounds right now and I got to a point where I was trying to hard to sound like the next guy, which I think is a big mistake. It’s really important to me that I have my own unique sound and become an innovator not a follower which brings me to my next point.
The lack of youtube songs is due to the fact I have been working on a 4 tracker release for a label that was going to sign me. In the end I decided it’s not the direction I wanted to take ephixa. Good news is that if I get these tracks finished (each one is sitting at 80% completion) I’ll be releasing them myself on youtube.
2010 will be a good year for the music. You’re all in for a treat.
P.S. I have been listening and producing dubstep like crazy. Some of the new tracks have dubstep in them, I love that stuff WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB.

admin This is a method I use to make tok sounds for kicks in some of my songs. It uses a preexisting kick sample and changes it into something new. You can use this methods on other samples and get a different but still useable effect.
